Amma’s visit to Madurai for the Brahmasthanam Mahotsavam was filled with devotion, spiritual energy, and heartfelt messages on humility, compassion, and selflessness. Thousands of devotees gathered for Amma’s darshan, marking her first visit to the city in several years.
During her satsang, Amma emphasized the importance of awareness, love, and humility in life. She spoke about the need for cooperation, companionship, and communion with fellow human beings, with nature, and with the divine. She reminded everyone that true friendship is built on embracing disagreements and criticism with an open heart and that compassion is not a luxury but a necessity for society’s survival. When love fills the heart, flowers of peace will blossom around us, Amma said.
The event included meditation, bhajans, and darshan, with Amma personally embracing each devotee. Clothing and financial assistance were distributed to Amrita SREE self-help group members, supporting their journey toward self-reliance.
