On the final day of the Civil 20 Summit, India’s ancient call for a world of unity in diversity resounded in all hearts. At the Valedictory Function, Smt Vasundhara Raje, Former Chief Minister of Rajasthan, emphasised that tolerance, universal brotherhood, and kindness to everyone are the foundations upon which the country is built. Even the poorest of the poor is ready to offer a glass of water to a passerby. Meanwhile, Shri Kalraj Mishra, Governor of Rajasthan, said that India’s heritage of connecting nature to the divine must be shared on a large-scale basis to tackle urgent environmental issues.
To conclude, Shri Vijay K Nambiar, the C20 Sherpa, handed the C20 Policy Pack and Communique over to the G20 Sherpa, Shri Amitabh Kant. Amma officially handed over the leadership of C20 to Brazil after successful conclusion of C20 India. The whole Summit strengthened mutual dedication to addressing vital global challenges as one family—vasudhaiva kuṭuṁbakam—India’s vision for its G20 Presidency.
