The three-day Civil20 (C20) 2023 Summit, an official Engagement Group of G20, culminated in a successful end in Jaipur. During the event, the C20 Communique was presented, containing grassroots survey results and policy recommendations from its 16 Working Groups. The leadership of C20 was officially handed over to Brazil by Amma, the Chair of C20 India.
The summit gathered over 800 delegates, including civil society organisations, experts, and G20 officials. Various speakers highlighted the commitment to social justice, human rights, and sustainable development. The summit showcased policy recommendations and successful case studies to promote global implementation. The C20 Summit concluded with hope for a more equitable, sustainable, and compassionate world.
