The Vavubali puja was conducted in #AmritapuriAshram (@Amritapuri) in accordance with the Amavasi Thithi, It is recommended that the Pitru Tarppanam be performed during this period, as it coincides with the new moon phase. Every day of a lunar month is called tithi.

Amritapuri Celebrates Guru Purnima
Guru Purnima was celebrated with grandeur at the Mata Amritanandamayi Math. Thousands of devotees and ashram residents were present. The Guru Paduka Puja was conducted under the leadership of Swami Turiyamritananda Puri, followed by a satsang by Swami Jnanamritananda Puri. The ceremonies, which began at 5 AM with the Ashtadravya Mahaganapati Homam and Guru Homam, concluded with the distribution of prasad in the afternoon.
