Goddess Kali, Corona & Rakthabeeja – Story in Sanskrit by Lalita 6yrs
6 yr old Lalita from Spain tells the story of Kali Corona & Raktabeeja in Sanskrit. Lalita lives in Amma @Amma ‘s Ashram at Amritapuri Kerala.
===
My name is Lalita and I live in Amma’s Ashram, Amritapuri, Kerala
I will talk about Kali, Corona and Raktabija in Sanskrit.
Just like the korona virus is destroying people in the world, in the olden days, there was an asura named Raktabija who created much destruction and killed so many people. How did the korona virus and Raktabija create destruction in the world?
There are some similarities between the two.
Both of them spread very fast in the world.Once Brahma deva gave a boon to Raktabija.
If one drop of his blood would fall on the earth, thousands of Raktabijas would emerge from that.
So there was nobody capable of killing him.But the Goddess Kali is all-powerful to do anything including the curing of diseases.
Consequently, there was a war between Kali and Raktabija.
Raktabija got many injuries all over the body.
But Kali drank up all the drops of blood.
No drop of blood fell on earth.
Like this Kali killed Raktabija. -

आत्मविश्वासस्य आवश्यकता Need of Self-confidence (Sanksrit Talk) – Amrita Ramesh संस्कृत भाषणम्
Amrita Ramesh (10 yrs) Amritapuri
Once upon a time, a king became interested in winning over his neighbouring kingdom. He called for a war and fought, but got defeated and ran away from the battlefield. He entered a cave in a dense forest. He was extremely anxious and disappointed at his defeat and decided to end his life.
Suddenly, he caught sight of a spider spinning its web in a corner of the cave. The spider was immersed in the spinning but the web would repeatedly break and she would fall down. How many ever times she fell down, she would climb up again and resume the spinning. This kept happening continuously but she never let go of her enthusiasm and patience. In the end, she succeeded in her task of web-spinning.
Inspired with this sight, the king thought “Oh! Though tiny, with enthusiasm and persistent effort, this spider succeeded in her task. She did not take count of her falls or failure in attempts. And she did not let go of her enthusiasm and courage. Though alone, she was keen on trying to succeed. I feel laughed at by this persistent spider. I was indeed backed up by a 1000-man army, but with just one defeat I withdrew and lost enthusiasm. I did not fight to win over my enemy even once. My state is indeed bashful. ”
Thinking so, the king decided to battle again. With effort, he won over his enemies and was joyful.
Similarly, for us to become the emperors of our own inner kingdom, let us all pray for the spider’s never-ending enthusiasm, patience, courage, physical strength, mental strength and devotion to our compassionate Amma, who is the bestower of all happiness. Amma, please accept our prayers and bless us. I dedicate these words as flowers at your lotus feet.
