Amma surprised her beloved Turkish children and the ashram community with a delightful pop-up Turkish bhajan right after darshan. The air was filled with bliss as Amma practiced the Turkish pronunciation and then with perfection sang the bhajan in Turkish.

    Highlights from Ganesha Puja Festival 2024 – Amritapuri

    The Ganeshotsavam, which began in Amritapuri in connection with Vinayaka Chaturthi, has come to an end. The procession, which started from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Amritapuri Campus and the Ayurveda Medical College, culminated at the Mata Amritanandamayi Math. During the ceremony held in the Ashram premises, Amma performed offerings to the Ganesh idols and led prayers for world peace. Hundreds of people, including foreigners, participated in the procession and prayers. The eleven-day-long Ganeshotsavam concluded with the immersion of the Ganesh idols at the Amritapuri beach.
